Richard C. Waters started working at Waters, Hardy & Company while attending high school in Dallas. While attending college at the University of Texas at Dallas during mornings and evenings, he maintained a full time position at the firm. In 1984, he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. In 1985, he obtained his CPA license and continued working for the firm.Throughout his years in public accounting, Richard has obtained valuable experience in working with all types of closely held businesses and individuals. As a result of this experience, he has learned how to best advise clients how to obtain the most from their company or achieve the best results from their personal tax situations. He has experience in working with clients in manufacturing, wholesaling, professional services, restaurants, and retailing. Working with such clients over the past 25 years has given him extensive knowledge in tax and accounting services, business acquisitions and sales, business consulting and planning, and individual tax planning and consulting.

Richard is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In Richard’s free time, he likes to play golf and tennis with his wife and friends.

Steven F. Hardy has extensive experience in tax and accounting services, including financial consulting, including business planning and start up, and business consulting and management services. His experience includes a broad range of industries including real estate investment, restaurants, hotels, medical services, retailers and service businesses. He has also worked extensively with estates and trusts. Steve graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in 1974. After several years in industry, he entered public accounting and has remained in public practice.

Steve is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the states of Texas and California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

To broaden his financial background, he also holds securities and insurance licenses. In addition to spending time with family, his interests include photography, travel, and various outdoor activities.
